One other thing: He only has 14 posts! All these claims were made and so many people are questioning what he said, and he's only created a few posts.

Also, Marvin, yes I understand that the burden of proof lays on the one making the claim that he's not being truthful. But it appeared to me that the overall impression here was that he WAS making these things up. So if that is what is being said, and the reasons have already been given as to WHY everyone thinks he is making it up (just look on his posts...he was called out almost immediately), then I would say that if you are believing what he says, it's ok for me to ask why you think he IS being truthful.
So now I put it back on you. I gave you my reasons for calling him out. Why do you think that it is reasonable to believe that he's saved 47 people UNDETECTED, from the WT in only 6 months?

Ok, fine, I'll do it. Here it goes.
First of all he claims: " I have tried it and I have gotten 47 people out in 6 months, while I am still seen as a publisher in good standing." First of all he NOW claims to be an elder, not a publisher. But this could just be a slip, so I'll give him that one. However, the 47 people out seems to fall under the category of either an outright lie or at least greatly inflated. There is absolutely no way that a JW in good standing (one that has been chosen to give CA and DC parts could succesfully get 47 people to actually leave the organization within 6 months. We can give people the benefit of the doubt here, but we can still be intelligent and use our God given sense of detecting...well....BS.
He goes further along these same lines by saying: " I have made 6 MS inactive in 6 months, 18 unbaptized publishers, 20 single brothers and 3 younger guys ." Yeah...ok.
As far as non JW doctrines, he brought out later that he would be speaking at the assembly and showing that we all need to be following the direction given by "Jehovah's Bride" and that this statement is in the outline. Most somewhat intelligent and well versed JWs know that Jehovah's Bride is nothing taught or refered to by the WTS. They talk about JESUS bride only. He goes on to say: " While the GB of JW represent JV's wife, having a more closer intimacy with Jehovah." Again, this would be new light since the Bible speaks only of the marriage of the anointed to Jesus Christ, in which case there would be a reverse sort of polygamy. Jesus AND Jehovah being the husband? Nope. It doesn't fit.
This was enough for me to say, "Yeah, this guy can't be telling the truth here." But to keep things going further he then claims that as he became an atheist, he was appointed as an elder. Why is every story so fantastic?
I think I give people the benefit of the doubt when they are speaking. I don't automatically think anyone is lying. But there comes a point where the pieces just don't fit and I have to call it. 47 people saved out of the organization in 6 months? Caused 6 MS to become "inactive"? After all this he was chosen for an assembly part where he is told to talk about Jehovah's Bride? Nope. Can't believe it.

I was going to go back through his posts and post why I think he's making things up, but then I remembered... I don't care. Fact is, he's said too many things that show he isnt who he says he is. The stories have either been made up or greatly inflated. If you read through his posts, the doctrines of JWs are wrong and the stories are too fantastic. There are too many things that don't add up.
But Marvin, why should someone else go back through his posts to prove to YOU why he's a fraud? If you don't believe it, then you don't have to. If you suspect that we are being unfair here, why don't YOU go back through his posts and tell us why you don't think he's making his stories up?

Data-Dog, you have to wait for him to be able to spend some time creating the outline that he would be giving during his fictional talk at the SAD...
It really bugs me when things like this are lied about. It takes away from the trustworthiness of others that are on this site and will only tell the truth. I appreciate it when the truth is told whether good or bad, for or against the Watchtower. Why not be honest about everything? When people lie, it gives the JWs some ammo when they say "Everyone that leaves the organization only lies..."

Should "Irregulars" Have Psyc Evaluations?
by watson innow that we've found out that the murderer holt was an "irregular" we can all relax.
he wasn't a "regular" witness.
gawd, this reminds me of the witness attempt to assuage their guilt over the conti case, because he wasn't an elder...... .

Didn't read through all of this thread yet, but did anyone read the JWs statement? First of all they want to make sure that everyone knows that Jonathan Holt was an "irregular meeting attender". Also, did anyone notice that the statement was written VERY poorly? A lot of punctuation was missing, and the grammar was horrible. Must've been one of the janitor elders...

When You Were A JW Were You Disturbed By "Apostate" Literature or "Apostates" At Conventions?
by minimus ini was always curious about what they had to say.
(i guess i was an apostate in the making)..

I LOVED reading the signs. I've always be rebellious, and it was something I could do that I couldn't get in trouble for. I seem to remember that the "apostates" used to come everday to our conventions, but more recently it's only been Saturday or Sunday. When they wouldn't be there, as a kid, I would get disappointed.
I remember my cousin telling me about silly apostates at his convention. They were just yelling "Don't read the Watchtower" from their loudspeakers. Not really effective... But I remember wishing they were at my convention.
The funny thing that I remember as an adult about the signs is that I just didn't consider them. I saw all the dates and such, but I never though "What really happened in 1925?"

I'll try looking for it, but does anyone remember the life story in the Watchtower about the man who was into voodoo, or some sort of occult activity, and he claimed that the demons would show him what took place in the spirit world? I believe it is the same life story where he claims that after he became a JW, the demons would pound on his walls and windows during the night and he would be unable to sleep...
